Prayer Request
“This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.” – 1 John 5:14-15 NASB
1 Thessalonians 5:17 enjoins us to “pray without ceasing”, and James 5:16 assures us that “The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.” Clearly, prayer should be the persistent practice of God’s people.
The First Christian Church of Saint Ignatius has a Prayer Chain which is used to communicate prayer requests quickly and effectively as they arise. The purpose of this page is to provide a means for submitting prayer requests to the Prayer Chain. If you would like to be added to or removed from the Prayer Chain, you can make that request here, also.
As part of the Prayer Chain, you will receive new prayer requests via email. The Prayer Chain email list is also occasionally used to pass along other information concerning church events or concerns. Your email address will never be sold or given to anyone else for any other purpose.

Please use the following guidelines when submitting prayer requests:
- If the prayer request is not for you personally, please secure the permission of the person(s) involved.
- Please do not share sensitive information that might be potentially embarrassing to anyone.
- When the prayer request is sent out, please check to verify the accuracy of it as sent
- Please submit follow-up information when the situation changes significantly or is resolved.
- You may submit a "Praise the Lord!" here as well.
- Prayer Chain emails are sent from "christianprayerrequest@yahoo.com". Please make sure your email SPAM filter is set to accept emails from this address.
